1. What is LocalBenefits Rewards? A: LocalBenefits Rewards is a loyalty card provided to you by merchants in your community who appreciate you and want to reward you for your continued patronage. Presenting the card allows you to save money and earn rewards (every dollar spent equals 1 point) at any of the merchants listed on LocalBenefitsRewards.com.
2. Instant Rewards: What is that and how does it work? A: Instant Rewards are Special Offers provided by many of our businesses each time you present your card when you make a purchase. These are instant rewards that you receive just for showing your card. (Example: 10% OFF Total Purchase.) Of course, the reward is different for each participating business, and not all of the businesses in our network offer Instant Rewards. Those that do participate have “Instant Reward” prominently displayed on their website, which you access from the LocalBenefits Rewards home page.
3. Rewards Later: What is that and how does it work? A: Rewards Later: When you make a purchase at any merchant in our network and present your LocalBenefits Rewards card, you will earn 1 point for every dollar spent. You will be rewarded with a FREE Reward Certificate, redeemable at the issuing merchant only, after you reach the required number of points established by the merchant. LocalBenefits Rewards will keep up with your total points at each merchant and will notify you by email every time you earn a Reward Certificate.
4. How do I find the participating merchants who accept the LocalBenefits Rewards Card? A: All participating merchants are listed on LocalBenefitsRewards.com by community, zip code, or category. Participating businesses will have the LocalBenefits Rewards logo posted on their doors and at various places inside. Cardholders are also notified by email when new businesses in their area join our network.
5. How do I get a LocalBenefits Rewards Card™? A: You may order your card online at LocalBenefitsRewards.com or you can get one at any participating merchant.
6. How much does the LocalBenefits Card cost? A: When you order from LocalBenefitsRewards.com, you will be charged a processing and handling fee of $5 per card. You will receive an Instant Reward Certificate (value of $5 or greater) to use at any participating merchant just for ordering your LocalBenefits Rewards Card™.
7. How long does it take for me to receive my card? A: If you order your card online from LocalBenefitsRewards.com, your order will be processed and shipped on the next business day via the US Postal Service. Priority shipping and overnight services are available for an additional cost.
8. Can I order cards for my friends or family? A: You may order as many cards as you wish. Each card will be live and ready to use when you receive it, however each cardholder must register their individual card online at LocalBenefitsRewards.com in order to receive rewards and be notified by email.
9. Is my LocalBenefits Rewards card live when I receive it? A: Yes, your card will be activated and can be used at any participating business to receive points when making a purchase. But, each cardholder must Register your card online at LocalBenefitsRewards.com in order to receive rewards and be notified by email. You can use the card to accumulate points when shopping, however you must register your card in order to redeem your earned rewards. Once registered, you will be notified via email of all rewards posted to your account. You can then log in and claim your rewards.
10. How many points do I earn on purchases? A: One point for every dollar you spend. (excluding taxes, tips and other fees applied). Each participating merchant required number of points to earn the reward will be listed on your local merchant pages, so be sure and check the website for details. Everything is automatic regarding the rewards. You make sure your card gets swiped at each visit and when you hit the points needed for the reward, you will receive an email letting you know and you simply login and print your reward certificate right from your LocalBenefitsRewards account and go use it.
11. What does a Cardholder have to do in order to earn rewards points? A: Simply present your LocalBenefits Rewards Card™ each time you shop at any participating merchant. See the list of merchants at LocalBenefitsRewards.com . Points are awarded 1 point for each net dollar spent (not counting taxes, tips, etc). Your card will be swiped and your points will be added to your total for that particular merchant. You can use your card to earn points at any participating merchant in the program, however. you must reach the required number of points at each business in order to earn the reward from that business. If you shop at 10 different LocalBenefits businesses, then you will be earning rewards at each of the 10 businesses simultaneously. As you reach the required number of points at each business, you will earn the reward from that business.
12. How do Cardholders receive their Rewards? A: Rewards are automatically placed in your account when you earn them. Each merchant will reward you when your card has accumulated a specific number of points. Reward certificates will be placed in your account and you will be sent an email notifying you that you have earned a reward. You will also be notified of free give-a-ways, birthday and anniversary awards too, so be sure that we have an accurate email address for you. Points are not transferable to use at any other merchant unless otherwise specified. The full directory of participating merchants is available online at LocalBenefitsRewards.com . LocalBenefits Rewards continues to expand and we're adding new merchants constantly. Please check the merchant directory periodically for updates.
13. Is there a limit to how many rewards I can earn from any one business? A: There is no limit. Each time you earn a reward at a particular business, your point balance for that business will be adjusted back to zero and you will again begin to accrue points toward another reward, over and over.
14. Do I need an account to receive my rewards? A: Yes. You can use your card to receive points but until you register your card and create your account, you can't retrieve your rewards since we will have no way of knowing who the card belongs to.
15. How long does it take to receive my reward once I earn it? A: Your rewards are calculated automatically when your card is swiped at any participating merchant in the LocalBenefits Rewards network. When you earn a reward it will be posted in your account usually within 24 - 48 hours and you will be notified via email. So, make sure your email address on file is correct and current.
16. How can a business owner enroll his/her business in the LocalBenefits Rewards program? A: Contact LocalBenefits Marketing Group for details.
17. What emails does LocalBenefits Rewards send it's cardholders? A: LocalBenefits sends emails to members who have registered their Rewards Card which alerts them to rewards they have earned, new merchants, special offers and a summary of their account. Our member's email addresses are never sold, loaned or rented. See our Privacy Policy for more.
18. What purchases qualify for LocalBenefits Rewards? A: You will receive points for Net purchases excluding taxes, tips or miscellaneous fees.
19. How do I get help if there is a problem? A: We offer extensive FAQ's to answer most issues. Or, you can contact us here or send us any questions via email at customerservice@LocalBenefitsRewards.com and we will respond to them promptly.
20. How do I opt-out of the reminder emails? A: You can opt-out of receiving emails at any time by contacting customerservice@LocalBenefitsRewards.com. If you opt out however, you will no longer receive notification of your rewards, point totals, special offers, or any other communications from us.
21. My email address has changed, what do I do? A: Log into your account at LocalBenefitsRewards.com and update your account.

23. Can I earn points anywhere other than at the merchant where I received my card? A: Yes. Your card is valid at any merchant in the LocalBenefits Rewards network. This means you will earn points at each participating business when you use your LocalBenefits Rewards Card™.
24. What is a LocalBenefits Rewards Gold Card? A: In appreciation for your loyal patronage, Gold Card Members receive special perks in addition to the regular point Rewards. The LocalBenefits Rewards Gold Card is our Special VIP Card it cannot be bought, it must be earned. You earn double points for every dollar spent in the LocalBenefits Rewards network. 26: How do I find out how many points I have earned toward a reward? A: You can find that information on the printed receipt after your card is swiped or scanned by a merchant at the Point of Sale. You can also log into your account online anytime and review your purchase history, point balance and available rewards earned inside the LocalBenefits network of merchants. You will be notified automatically by email through the LocalBenefits Rewards system of any rewards you are entitled to from any merchant in the network.
27: Does my LocalBenefits Rewards Card ever expire? A: Never
28: Do my earned points ever expire? A: No, the points do not expire as long as the merchant at which you have accumulated points remains active in the LocalBenefits Reward network. If the merchant goes out of business or drops out of the program, then the points become null and void for that merchant only. Your card is still good at all the other participating merchants and your card does not expire. Reward Certificates do have an expiration date which varies from merchant to merchant and is printed on the certificate so be sure and redeem it before it expires.
29: What happens if I lose my card? A: You must order a replacement card from LocalBenefitsRewards.com and stipulate you have lost your card so we can apply the lost card points earned to your new card. There is a charge of $5 to void the old card and transfer points. Some restrictions apply see Terms & Conditions for further details.
30: What payment methods are available to order the LocalBenefits Rewards Card? A: All major credit and debit cards are accepted as well as PayPal for your convenience.
31: How do I know what reward each participating merchant is offering? A: The full directory of participating merchants is available online from the homepage at LocalBenefitsRewards.com. Each merchant will display their reward points needed to redeem rewards. Our program continues to expand and add new participating merchants. Please check the merchant directory periodically for updates.
32: What if a participating merchant stops offering LocalBenefits Rewards? A: Any participating merchant may cancel their LocalBenefits Rewards program at any time and any outstanding points for that merchant are voided. If a merchant withdraws from the LocalBenefits Rewards network, you will be notified by email. However, all points that you accumulate throughout the LocalBenefits Rewards network count toward your Gold Card and Gold Rewards, even if the merchant goes out of business or drops from the program. Gold Rewards are offered separately and can be redeemed at any participating merchant.
