Ghost Town In The Sky Thrill Rides, Music, Live Action Shows, Spectacular Views
After being closed for nearly 5 years, Ghost Town is back in business. This famous attraction re-opened on Memorial Day Weekend 2007. Located at the top of this mountain, in Maggie Valley, North Carolina, is a mile high fun center with an old west setting.
To get to the top you must either ride a chair lift, or a railway tram and this is an adventure in itself. When you go to Ghost Town you can fulfill all your fantasies of visiting a wild west town complete with bank robberies, jail breaks, and gun fights. |

The Rides Hold On!
The rides start before you even get to the top of Ghost Town in the Sky. Start on the two-person chair lift or choose the incline railway, HOLD ON as you travel 3370 feet up Buck Mountain with over 75-degree inclines.
Your adventure will continue as you make your way to all kinds of rides including a train ride, the Scrambler, the Merry-Go-Round and Bumper Cars. Be sure not to miss the Chance Gunfighter Yo-Yo Swing , a favorite Ghost Town classic.

Authentic Western Town Wild West Shows Hourly
 What would life on the frontier be without a bank robbery and a gunfight? Ghost Town in the Sky has an authentic western town with two saloons, schoolhouse, jail and even a church. Come re-live the Wild West with hourly shows between good guys and bad guys.
Pull up a seat at one of the saloons and watch the Can-Can girls perform or slide down to the next saloon and see live music. Keep your eyes open - you may see authentic Cherokee Indian dancers and musicians. Hand-clapping fun awaits you with shows and live music daily. |
