As well as alkalis, oils, greases, most solvents, gasoline, diesel, paints, paint thinner, paint remover, varnish, resins, glues, harsh soap and detergents, some inks, copy machine toners, fiberglass, cement, graphite & other irritants. Derma Shield locks out these substances, so they won't get into the skin. Washing is still required to rid the skin of these substances but, once applied, skin will be much easier to clean.
